Cheerful Chance
Once there was a girl named Chance.
You would easily know it from just one glance,
Chance was different from all the rest.
In her town of Grumpiest.
While all the people in her town,
Always seemed to have a frown,
Chance would act like a silly goose.
Everywhere that she was loose.
She turned a tumble into a somersault.
The neighbours sighed, though, it wasn't her fault,
When she knocked over a barrel with a monkey.
The town, for the first time, felt a little funky.
Their mouths twitched and wiggled,
And then they all giggled.
It was so much fun, watching Chance play,
It took away their frowns that day.
The mayor came over to see the mess,
And saw all the townfolk grumpyless.
He made a decision, quick as a flash,
To rename the town with a paint splash.
Now Chance is cheerful, as is her town,
Where no one is sad, not even a frown.
So when you pass by, the town of Jollyjoy,
Remember be happy, each girl and boy.
